Do you want to reconnect with childhood memories of frolicking in a garden?
Do you miss getting your hands dirty, connecting with plants and growing green things?
Do you wonder what all this talk about "urban gardening" is all about?

Then we have the event for you!

Join us at the Lower East Side Ecology Center on Saturday, July 11 for a truly fun day learning about composting, urban gardening and the good works of the Center.

We will be hosted by the LES Ecology Center itself - so this will be an extra special event with plenty of time to ask questions and learn as much as you want (not to mention, the unique opportunity to get your hands dirty with real dirt right in the middle of Manhattan!)

Details:
10:00am - Gardening activities around the Ecology Center

12:00pm, noon - Picnic and informal discussion about the Ecology Center and its work

(Please bring your own lunch, there is a refrigerator on site that we can use).
